Kidderminster Harriers v Exeter City

The Grecians' start the match with Martin Thomas and Neil Whitworth coming into the team for the injured Don Goodman and suspended Santos Gaia. After a torrential downpour in the Midlands just before the game City start on a slick surface attacking the Kiddy supporters..

City had an early scare as Parrish swung in a corner that Abdou Sall just missed. Then the tide turned, Coppinger sent a ball through and Flack broke free of the defence, outpaced them and smashed the ball home left footed from fifteen yards to give City the lead in the third minute.

Nine minutes in and Kidderminster have started to create a couple of chances with Miller saving a header from Parrish.Fourteen minutes in and Coppinger and Sharpe linked up down the left, Sharpe crossed and Brock flapped at the ball, missed and allowed Martin Thomas to double City's advantage with an easy tap in.

A couple of minutes later Henriksen should have pulled a goal back but he leant back too far and headed the cross wide of the post.Next up was Coppinger twisting and turning through the defence only to see his shot hit the side netting.

After twenty eight minutes a ball from Abdou Sall split the defence and Bo Henriksen was allowed to run straight through and clip the ball over the advancing Kevin Miller to pull a goal back for the harriers.

Scott Stamps was the first player to enter the notebook as he clattered into Justin Walker with a very careless tackle. After thirty four minutes the second goal for Kiddy went in as a corner was flung in Lee Ayres nodded home from close range.

Again Coppinger was being his tricky self this time on the right side turning Sall inside out before whipping in a cross cum shot from the by-line that clipped the bar on its way out for a goal kick.

Half Time Score: Kidderminster Harriers 2-2 Exeter City

The second half starts with one change for each team. The Grecians are now attacking the end where the City fans are situated.City again immediately started off fast, Sheldon and Coppinger linked up on the right wing with Sheldon firing a dipping shot over the crossbar.

After fifty two minutes after a City attack Kiddy went to the other end and Bo Henriksen smashed the ball past the hapless Kevin Miller to give the Harriers the lead. After sixty two minutes Sharpe put in a corner and Flack's goal bound header was cleared off of the line by Williams.

From a corner that wasn't, Miller initially saved only to see the ball come straight back past him from a shot from Lee Ayres scoring his second of the day. After seventy seven minutes City pulled another back as Roscoe lashed the ball home from an acute angle to give City hope.

Five minutes later and Flack flicked on a Miller kick to set Roscoe free, Brock pulled off a superb save to keep the score at 4-3 and to give City a corner. The last ten minutes of the game have been all pressure from City as they go in search of the equaliser

Into the last few minutes and City certainly created plenty of chances but couldn't convert them, after the game started so promisingly it ended up in despair as City lost.
