Grecians Extend Clinton Contract

31 August 2015

Popular striker to remain at St James Park

EXETER CITY can confirm that striker Clinton Morrison's contract has been extended beyond its initial one-month period.

After news of his return to the Grecians' squad was exclusively revealed in this season's first issue of match-day programme The Grecian, an agreement has been reached that will see Morrison remain at St James Park.

Morrison has proved a favourite amongst the Grecians faithful since arriving mid-way through the 2014/15 season, and made twenty-five appearances across the course of that campaign.

This season he has come on as a substitute in the games against Yeovil Town, York City, Sunderland and AFC Wimbledon.

Meanwhile, first-year pro Josh Read has also had his contract extended after impressing in his first month with the squad.
