Local resident John Hall was a double-winner recently when he bought a bottle of Brazilian Merlot, which featured the name of Exeter City Football Club on its label and is available from Waitrose.
During a special promotion period, everyone buying a bottle of the wine from the Gladstone Road store was entered in a draw for a series of prizes, with the first prize being hospitality for two at a forthcoming Grecians match.
John not only got to enjoy the wine, but he also won the first prize and collected his winners voucher from Steve Minnican of Waitrose on the pitch at St James Park ahead of our home fixture against Luton.
Definitely something to raise a glass to!
