Jay gets the nod for Northampton trip
Youngster Matt Jay has been handed his first start of the 2014/15 campaign, as he is named alongside striker Graham Cummins for the trip to Northampton Town.Jay’s inclusion, replacing Aaron Dawson, is the only change to the Grecians’ starting XI from the 1-1 draw with York City a week ago.
The change is likely to see Scot Bennett back in the defensive ranks after his start as a forward against the Minstermen.
Meanwhile there are a few familiar names in the Northampton team, with ex-City players Chris Hackett starting and Lawson D’Ath among the subs.
