All at Exeter City Football Club were saddened to hear the news that former Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Jimmy Greaves is in intensive care after suffering a stroke on Sunday.
Greaves our welcome guest at a Spurs Legends evening at St James Park last Thursday evening, with Alan Gilzean and Exeter City’s director of football Steve Perryman also on the bill.
He was also due to be inducted into the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame on Wednesday 13th May.
Our thoughts and wishes are with Jimmy and his family at this difficult time and we hope to hear positive news in the coming days and weeks.
