Tom Nichols Departs City For Peterborough United

1 February 2016

Striker departs for an undisclosed fee

EXETER CITY can confirm that striker Tom Nichols has completed a deadline day transfer to Peterborough United.

Tom heads to the ABAX Stadium for an undisclosed fee.

A City academy graduate, Tom has been with the club since under-11 level, and made his first-team debut for the club as a seventeen-year-old, coming off the bench in a League 1 game at Sheffield Wednesday. He scored his first senior goal against Chesterfield on the day before his eighteenth birthday.

Overall he would score thirty-four goals in 113 games for the Grecians, with the last of those coming in his final appearance for the club, a 2-1 win over Accrington Stanley at St James Park.

Exeter City wishes Tom all the best in his future career.
