Ability Counts
Exeter City have three teams in the South Western Ability Counts League. One team playing at each level Premiership,Championship and League.
Each team plays a number of games one Sunday a month. Premier and Championship play 7 a side and League 5 a side.
Our teams have a grant from the Football Foundation and the Gateway Club recently gave us £1,000. We have an away kit sponsored by Gemini FM but we do not have a current first team sponsor.
We are in the second season of the foundation funding and the grant last for three seasons so we will need a new income when this expires. The players pay to play and train but this is not a huge income as most are unemployed due to their disability.
To sponsor this team or to find out any further information email enquiries@exetercityfc.co.uk
Next Premiership games are at Speeds Meadow Cullompton on Sunday 26th November, first games kick off at 11.00. We are due to play Plymouth Argyle then Bristol Active Life with Argyle playing Bristol City and the two Bristol teams playing each other.
On the 3rd December the Championship and League team are due to play at Callington Sports College again kicking off at 11.00. This will be a long day as we play our last game at 3.30pm
Results and tables can be found here.
The last round of games were played on Sunday 12th November in Bristol, click here for a summary of the games.

On the 12th November, Exeter City had two teams competing in the current round of games. Here is how they got on.
Premier league
Plymouth Argyle 2 Exeter City 1
A very close game which could have gone either way with both teams having a number of chances. Citys goal scorer was Jason Taylor.
Team SG 3 Exeter City 1
A disappointing result against a team we really should have beaten. We were really not at the races for this one. John Welsh was our goalscorer.
Exeter City 4 Keynsham Town 0
A much improved performance with Keynsham rarely getting out of their own half. All four goals coming from striker John Welsh.
Exeter City 4 Lufton College 0.
Another good game with City dominant throughout. Another hat trick for leading scorer Welsh with Jason Taylor getting the other.
Championship
Purbeck Panthers 0 Exeter City 2
Dafydd Brinkworth made his debut in goal replacing the injured Lee Tidball and started well by keeping a clean sheet. City were the better side throughout and goals from Karl Osborne and Sam Ross sealed the victory.
Horizon 1 Exeter City 1
A good result against the league leaders which could have gone either way with Horizon starting brightly but City getting stronger throughout and perhaps unlucky not to take 3 points towards the end of the game. Centre back Tommy Omisore scored the equaliser with a thundering drive.
Plymouth Argyle 0 Exeter City 0
A fair result in what was a close hard fought game with the two defences on top, when Argyle did get through keeper Brinkworth was equal to it.
Exeter City3 Team Star 0
City got off to a flyer in this one with Pete Miller scoring on 3 seconds! It was very much one way traffic and we should have scored more than the two
further goals from Carl Woolacott and Tommy Omisore.
At the present time our Premier League team lie in fourth place but have a number of games in hand, the Championship team have moved up to third after a run of four games undefeated and the league team are also in third spot four points behind the leaders but with a game in hand so it is all still to play for.
