The Championship and League Ability teams took part in the Regional finals in Street last weekend where the Championship team won their place at the National Finals on July 25th, with a goal in the last 10 Seconds!
They will now represent the South West in the National Ability Counts League Competition played at the David Beckham Academy.
The results on the day were:
League team:
Lost 3-2 Callington Ability
Lost 2-1 Swindon Leopards
Lost 1-0 BISPAA
They played really well on the day, but unfortunately could not get the results they needed to progress.
Championship team:
Won 1-0 Plymouth Argyle
Won 2-0 Salisbury Tigers
Drew 1-1 Western Warriors
The Ability Counts team is now looking for sponsorship so the Championship side can go to London and compete with the best in the Country at Championship level.
If you can help with this or are interested in playing for us then please contact Paul Clements on 07792 910802
