U10s - U15s
Under 10's v Alphington Under 11's Drew 2 - 2
A great team performance saw the young Grecians produce a last minute equaliser to hold an older Alphington side to a 2 - 2 draw. The match was played at a fast pace and City produced some of their best football of the season, closing down quickly, winning headers and tackles and controlling the midfield. George Brown was reliable at the back, Nathan May and Jamie Harkness did well in midfield and Scott Townsend and Jack Rainey up front caused problems for the visitors defence.
Man of the Match - Jamie Harkness
Under 11's v Watchet Won 4 - 0
City took control of this game from the start and, after two early goals, never looked back. Competitiveness to win the ball back quickly set Exeter up to then pass and move the ball well and the focus to defend and keep a clean sheet was excellent. The Watchet goal keeper was outstanding and his performance kept the score line respectable.
Under 12's v Kingskerswell Under 13's Lost 4 - 0
A physically older and stronger Kerswell side were a little too strong for City's Under 12's. Although Exeter had some good passages of play in the middle third the Kerswell defence stood firm and snuffed out any danger. Good displays for City from Callum Ellis and Harry Shwenn.
Man of the Match - Harry Shwenn
Under 13's v Adolfsbergs Under 14's (Sweden) Won 8 - 0
This was an extremely professional display from the young Grecians who did not know what to expect from their older Swedish visitors. An Ollie Knowles hat-trick inside 20 minutes set City on their way with other goals from Jack O'Neill (2), Luke Roper, Jake Allen and Jordan Kewell. Jacob Cane gave an impressive display down the right wing with Jordan Moore-Taylor and Joel Letori assured and composed in the centre of defence.
Man of the Match - Joel Letor
Under 15's v Dorchester Under 16's Won 4 - 0
Exeter won this game without ever finding their top gear and will hope to finish the season on a high with better performances in the next two weeks against Bournemouth and Swansea. Liam Ellis, Aaron Doble and James Richards all gave good displays in the City defence with Aaron Dawson and Dan Western the driving force of the team in the middle of midfield. Goals came from Jordan Edgecombe (2), Callum Somers and goal machine Jack Furzer.
Man of the Match - James Richards
