Under 9's v Swindon Town Lost 4 - 2

After conceding an early goal Exeter City found their stride and levelled the scores after a superb pass from keeper Owen Coombe set Josh Pinn down the left wing and a low cross was finished by George Rae. The young Grecians went 2 - 1 up after a long range shot from Ryan Jackson was parried by the Swindon Keeper only for Archie Collins to finish superbly from a tight angle. Swindon then got on top of the game and ran out 4 - 2 winners but this was a good team performance from Exeter.

Under 10's v Swindon Town Won 7 - 2

This was a win built on team discipline and hard work, a good team performance where it was difficult to single out players for individual praise. Having started brightly and peppered the Swindon goal a rare counter attack left City behind but, Jack Mills levelled with a trademark left foot rocket from the edge of the box and when Liam Carey put Exeter infront the Grecians grew in confidence and dominated the match. Sam Ballett, Teague Lobb, Toby Down and Ollie Jay and Jake Moore-Taylor all had good games

Under 11's v Swindon Town

A good start to the match by both sides saw a close fought first period end goal-less. City grew in confidence and dominated possession in the second period but fell behind after a dubious penalty. Exeter had showed good spirit throughout and responded well to falling behind with Cameron Gill levelling things up early in the third period. With 5 minutes to go the game was in the balance when another dubious decision allowed a Swindon forward to handle the ball un-punished and then score to make it 2 - 1. A disappointing response from City saw heads drop and Swindon scored two late goals.

Under 12's v Swindon Town Lost 5 - 4

After a disallowed City goal and a dubious Swindon penalty Exeter found themselves 5 - 1 behind but showed good spirit to respond positively. A Jason Pope shot was parried and Matt Jay was quickest to the rebound for City's opener. Jason Pope was involved again with a cross that Louis Cane rose to head home. Aarron Denny battled well to win the ball in midfield and played a through ball that got Pope on the score sheet himself and then a Lewis Hayward through ball created Louis Cane's second goal of the game.

Under 13's v Swindon Town Drew 2 - 2

After two poor periods City found themselves two goals down, however, the Grecians found their form late on and when Tom Pancherz pulled one back with an excellent free kick this was quickly followed by an equaliser from Ollie Watkins.

Under 14's v Swindon Town Drew 2 - 2

The 2 - 2 scoreline does not remotely reflect a match that Exeter dominated from start to finish without even finding top gear. A lack of quality on the final ball in many promising situations, some wasteful finishing and a good display from the Robins keeper kept Swindon in the game when City should have reached double figures. Matt Grimes showed touches of class in the middle of midfield while Jake Allen's powerful running up front caused Swindon problems.

Under 15's v Swindon Town Won 3 - 2

Both sides contributed to an exciting game with City coming out on top thanks to a hat-trick from Seb Broomfield. With his co-striker Lewis Coombes they gave the Swindon defence a torrid time throughout the game. Philip Veal was strong in defence but overall it was pleasing to see the City lads produce a good hardworking team performance.

Under 16's v Swindon Town Lost 2 - 1

A lack lustre and disappointing first half with very little movement and passing saw City trailing. After an improved second half display where Exeter tried to make things happen, and showed that they can string passes together and move the ball, the Grecians travelled home on a positive note.
