The third period saw four goals, all from City, with two from Ethan Ampadu and one a piece for Matt Salter and James Doble.

The final period saw one further goal from James Dodd. Alfie Edwards was outstanding in the final period at centre back. There were good performances throughout with Will Dean, Ethan Ampadu and Alfie Edwards all working hard.

Exeter were split into two separate teams for some 6-a-side games.

City played some good passing football with Nathan Townsend, Callum Whiteoak and Sam Clifton playing well. Harry Kite and Liam Winter looked bright while Dillion Alford and Oli Jarrett worked extremely well and Gabriel Campbell pulled off some fine saves in goal for the Grecians.

The second game was not as fluent but City tried passing the ball and at times looked good and gained a lot of experience from this difficult game.

Sam Haynes had a never say die attitude with George Harvey making some clever moves on the pitch.

Under 11's Exeter City 2-2 Plymouth Argyle

Argyle took the lead against the run of play after City had missed some good chances to score. Trialist Bradley Down scored an excellent equaliser when he took on the last Plymouth defender, beat him for pace and coolly slotted past the keeper.

Argyle took a late lead from penalty spot, but City deservedly equalised through Archie Collins. Audie Campbell gave a battling performance in midfield, regularly winning back possession for his team.

Man of the match for City was Josh Davey who constantly drove his team forward, making strong runs through the midfield at the Plymouth defence and setting up scoring opportunities for his team.

Exeter City was unlucky to lose this game as they completely dominated after going two goals down.

City took complete control of the game and created plenty of goal scoring opportunities. Mustafa Rehemi scored with a strong run and finish before going close on 3 more occasions. Mika Morgan also went close twice hitting the post after some great football. Plymouth made it 3 - 1 with a dubious penalty.

Under 14's Exeter City 3-1 Plymouth Argyle

This was a committed and confident performance from the Exeter team, who took an early lead after six minutes when a quick passing move saw Matt Jay burst into the penalty area and send a great shot into the corner. City maintained their control in the second period, when again, after 6 minutes, striker Lewis Sanders shot home right footed.

City was strong, aggressive and passing fluently, epitomised by their third goal after 12 minutes of the third period. Louis Gallagher got forward from left-back to drive the ball into the goal from the edge of the box, after a good period of possession and a set back from Lewis Sanders.

Argyle pulled one back four minutes later as City failed to react to a free kick across the face of goal and an opponent got across to head home from close range. This gave Argyle hope and for a few minutes City lost a little composure, wasted possession and allowed Argyle to threaten but in the final period City resumed control, worked hard to the end, and emerged worthy winners.
