City's away day blues continued, but the passing and movement from Exeter was good. We conceded some scrappy goals while Scott Townsend scored City's only goal from a free kick.  Good performance also came from Ben Steer, Jack Lee, Liam Moyle and Jake Moore-Taylor.

By far the best performance of the season. After going 1 - 0 down an equaliser came from a George Bennett lob before Bristol scored their second. Connor Gilby in goal commanded his area well. In the last two periods Exeter dominated with good quick passing all over the pitch. Lewis Hayward wide on the right scored a hat-trick before Bennett finished the scoring with his second.

Exeter started slowly but managed to soak up some early pressure before going ahead with a cool finish from Matt Clark. Bristol equalised from a corner before half time. Exeter continued to battle hard and defended well until a good finish from Morgan Marsh restored the lead. Despite pressure from Rovers, City refused to concede and on the counter attack good work from Ashley Hudd gave Morgan Marsh his second goal.

The Bristol goalkeeper was the busier of the two in a closely fought game. Without being at their best Exeter deserved something out of the game against a strong Rovers side who are considered to be the best in the area at Under 12's having gone unbeaten all season. It looked like the game would be goalless after two periods until the referee inexplicably decided to play six minutes injury time and Bristol took the lead with the last kick of the second period. After Jamie Mickelwright scored for City Jack O'Neill hit the bar with a free kick and continued pressure on the Bristol goal didn't quite produce an equaliser for Exeter.

A very good display from an Exeter team that was always in control of this game. Bristol tried to play but Exeter out fought and out played the Bristol boys. Exeter were two up inside fifteen minutes, goals from Matt Rickard and Tom Nichols. Bristol got one back with a very lucky deflection but class told as Exeter finished off the Bristol boys with goals from Tom Nichols and a wonder strike from Ethan Phillips.

City dominated this game from start to finish with their best display of the season. After Callum Somers was brought down Aaron Doble gave Exeter the lead from the spot. Somers was again involved and set up Aaron Dawson for the second before Dan Keating fed Kyle Bassett for the third. Keating was the provider again when his free kick was met with a bullet header by Daniel Western to complete the scoring.

Exeter were 1 - 0 up in the first minute, Steve Martin was brought down by the keeper and scored the penalty. There was a hard working performance from all the lads throughout the game until Steve Martin got another goal with five minutes to go.  Bristol scored direct from a corner in the last minute to set up a tight finish.

After leading 1-0 for the majority of the first half City self destructed and won't be happy with the way they finished the game.
