Under 10's v Swindon Town Lost 4 - 1

City dominated a large part of the game without really threatening the Swindon goal too often. The Robins were much more clinical in front of goal but never the less Exeter were very unlucky to lose by this margin.

Man of the Match - Charlie Madden

Under 11's v Swindon Town Drew 2 - 2

A very slow start gave the opposition far too much room all over the pitch and City were two goals down after 20 minutes. Thereafter we worked hard to win possession and we passed with purpose and variety. City scored two goals to draw level and created enough chances to deserve a win. Good performances from Josh Kite, Matt Jay, Aaron Nurcombe and Lewis Sanders.

Under 12's v Swindon Town Won 4 - 2

A strong team performance with goals from Thomas Tricker (2) and Harry Schwenn 2 led City to a 4 - 2 win. Matt Clarke was excellent in midfield and orchestrated numerous other goal scoring opportunities.

Under 13's v Swindon Town Lost 1 - 0

An evenly fought first period ended goalless but after that City dominated and were camped in the Swindon half for long periods. The Grecians couldn't turn their pressure into goals and were caught with a classic sucker punch. Good performances from Jordan Moore-Taylor, Jack Baxter and eleven year old Stefan Paull.

Man of the Match - Joel Letori

Under 14's v Swindon Town Lost 1 - 0

A very strong Swindon side took the initiative early and played some lovely football throughout. City worked hard to stay in the game and the score remained goalless until a last minute Swindon winner.

Under 15's v Swindon Town Drew 1 - 1

An evenly fought contest between two good teams who cancelled each other out.

Under 16's v Swansea City Lost 4 - 0

The Swans started better with a 4-3-3 formation that posed so many problems for the Exeter side we had to change our shape after 25 minutes. This was an excellent learning experience for City who, after a half time team talk, forced Swansea to change their shape in the second half. The four under 15 players all did well and had Exeter taken their chances the result would have been a lot closer.
