Under 10's v Crediton Saints Lost 4 - 2

A strong Crediton Under 11's side, including 3 City players, won this close encounter. There were many strong performances from the young Grecians who despite falling behind early on continued to play good football. Liam Moyle linked well with strike partner Jack Rainey before coolly slotting home City's opener. The Grecians then pressed forward with Man of the Match Nathan May the architect of many fine moves. Jack Hocking pulled City level with a brave effort when he was first to loose ball in the Crediton box. Jack Rainey, Wasim George and Ollie Morgan all had good games.

Under 14's v Aston Villa Lost 2 - 1

City's very successful and progressive Centre of Excellence continues to test it's players against the best in the country as the Under 14's travelled to Aston Villa keen to build on their good season. Having already matched Academy sides Cardiff and Bristol City and Premiership Portsmouth the Grecians were in good form. Exeter started the brighter, took the lead through a Lewis Coombes header, and had good chances to go further infront. Villa did settle into the game in the second period and City showed signs of nerves as the Premiership side took the lead for good. All in all it was a good day and a great experience for City who proved again that Grecians youth system is a match for multi million pound Premiership clubs.

Under 16's v Bristol Rovers Won 1 - 0

Another good display from the Under 16's saw them earn their third victory in four games and a clean sheet to boot. Seb Salter and Chris Chidgey continue to develop as a Central defensive partnership with Paul Smyth and Steve Martin also doing well at the back. Harry Nodwell was the driving force in the City midfield with his best performance of the season so far and James Berry had another good game upfront. City's goal came in the second half when Craig Veal converted confidently after good pressure on the Rovers goal created an opening.
