Under 9's v Swansea FC Lost 5 - 1

City gave another good performance and just need a bit of luck to go their way in order to get a deserved victory. In very slippery wet conditions the team that forced more pressure on the opposition goal was always likely to have the better of the game and despite a good team performance from Exeter it was Swansea who exerted more pressure. Audie Campbell got City's goal.

Exeter were by far the better side and were robbed of a deserved victory by a Swansea team who went home feeling very lucky. Jake Moore-Taylor had an excellent game in the City goal in difficult goal keeping conditions. Charlie Madden gave City the lead, a host of saves from the Swans keeper kept the visitors in it before a few goal mouth scrambles left Exeter disappointed. Good performances came from Ollie Avery-Wright, Jack Rainey and Nathan May who was superb in the air all game.

A ruthless City side overwhelmed their visitors throughout this match and had chances to make the victory even bigger. In the opening 25 minutes Ivybridge
managed to keep a clean sheet and even had a half chance on the break. But from there on in Exeter's possession and pressure told with goals coming from all corners of the pitch. Luke Roper and new signing Jordan Kewell got their first goals of the season while Jake Allen, Ollie Knowles, Jamie Micklewright, Jack Baxter and JackO'Neill also notched. The concentration at the back and the clean sheet were just as pleasing for the young Grecians.
