Nick Saunders, Exeter City's Disabled Supporters Association Chairman, has been voted the National Association of Disabled Supporters (NADS) Volunteer of the Year as part of their 'level playing field' award.
Nick, who is also the ECFC Disability Liaison Officer, will be presented with his award by a representative from NADS at our final home match this season against Morecambe on Saturday 25th April.
This is not the first accolade that Nick has received after being voted Exeter City Supporter of the Year in 2007/08.
Since joining the Exeter City Supporters Club committee in 2002 Nick has strived to give disabled supporters a greater say in what happens at their football club.
He set up the Exeter City Disabled Supporters Association in 2007 and the association can now boast 35 members.
The National Association of Disabled Supporters (NADS) was established in 1998 and is the national registered charity representing disabled supporters of all sports together with their carers and advocates.
Their key objectives are to promote an inclusive agenda, raise disability awareness through sport and ensure an equality of experiences for all fans.
