What's In The City v Charlton Programme

Posted on: Mon 30 Jan 2012

Make sure you pick up a copy of our 100 page matchday programme on Saturday when League One leaders Charlton Athletic come to Devon.

The £3 page programme is packed full of all the information you need ahead of this exciting clash including an indepth report from the trip to Brazil.

We've published plenty of Julian and Bruce's photos plus a diary from the trip to South America.

On that history theme we also look back at City's visit to Argentina and the memorable meeting with Dunga and the Brazil Masters in 2004.

Mike Blackstone remembers our clash with Charlton back in 1980 while our archive feature shows off some fantastic snaps from previous matches between the sides.

Paul Tisdale previews this match and looks back on last weekend's match with Oldham while Roger Conway gives us an insight into the setting of season ticket prices.

We read how the Under 18 match reports from QPR and Swindon and profile the  five managers that have been at their posts longer than Tis!

Our Facebook and Twitter fans tell us about their favourite City souvenirs we have an in-depth look at Chris Powell's side.

We round up League One, see what our former Grecians have been up to and find out all about Scot Bennett's likes and dislikes in Grill A Grecian.

So make sure you pick up a programme this weekend from around the ground, fantastic value at just £3.

Meanwhile Exeter based programme collection specialists Programmes Direct will be breaking new ground at St James' Park..

From a stall located behind the railings on St James Road, beside the entrance to the Fountain Car Park, owner David Sanders will have a large collection of International, League and non-league programmes for sale. Serious collectors can also discuss specialist enquiries and David will have a selection of City's own past and present programmes available as well.

The stall will be open pre-match and will close just before kick off. This is a 'use it or lose it' facility and the club hope fans interested in collecting programmes will support the new venture.
