Cheltenham Town midfielder Alex Russell is due at the Cat & Fiddle tomorrow for a medical before hopefully sealing a loan move to the Grecians. Providing the medical is successful he will sign with a view to a pemanent move for next season. The 35-year-old is vastly experienced having played almost 440 games for Torquay United, Rochdale,Bristol City,Cambridge United and Cheltenham Town. He has scored over 50 goals in his long career and has made 23 appearances for the Robins this season. Director of Football Steve Perryman said, "Alex is an experienced midfielder who is known for his superb passing ability. We hope everything will be completed on Thursday"
