·City fan Clive Toye has been selected for induction into the CONCACAF Hall of Fame.

Clive is not only a City fan but also a trust member and was honoured by CONCACAF for his work in building soccer in the United States and the region.

His work in the North American Soccer League began in 1967 and his notable achievements include a key role in brining Pele to the League.

And in 1998 he joined the international organization as a senior consultant and revamped the communications and media relations departments.

The Mission of the National Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum is to Celebrate the History, Honour the Heroes of US Soccer and is located in Oneonta in a new 30,000 sq.ft state-of-the-art multimedia museum.

"Congratulations to Clive on this honor," Hall of Fame President Steve Baumann said.

"He has contributed to soccer in the United States and the

region on a national and international level for more than 40 years.

"We are pleased for Clive that CONCACAF has also chosen to honour him."

CONCACAF will induct Toye into the Hall of Fame at its XXVI Ordinary Congress in the Bahamas on June 1.

It is always nice to see Grecians doing well all over the world and we wish Clive all the best.
