Exeter City midfielder Manny Panther has signed for Morecambe on a season long loan.

Panther spent a spell on loan at Rushden & Diamonds last autumn but following his return to Devon he made 20 appearances in a red and white shirt, scoring twice.

The 25-year-old signed for City in the summer of 2008 after a spell at York City.

Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy told Morecambe's Official Website: "I need cover for Fraser and Garry Hunter in the midfield position and Manny is someone who I think could fill that slot well.

"He has always impressed me when I have seen him. He has a great engine and I am sure he will be a fantastic addition to our squad.''
