Exeter City's young centre-back Scot Bennett today joined Weymouth on a one-month loan deal.

City's number 26 is yet to make his first team bow but regularly captains the unbeaten reserve side.

Scot will stay at Weymouth initially until the 11th January 2010 and he follows in the footsteps of his fellow young professionals Elliott Frear, James Norwood and Chris Shephard who have all moved on loan in the past month.

He goes into their squad for the FA Trophy tie against Salisbury City tomorrow.
