Exeter City striker Richard Logan became an Exeter FM radio presenter for a day last week - which caused his partner so much mirth that she went into labour.

Now the footballer has a new fan - his newborn son - born just 13 hours after Logie's on-air debut.

Logan co-presented The Red and White Radio Show with regular Exeter FM drivetime presenter Joe Hellier on Saturday, 2 January.

Jesse Jai Logie arrived safely on the planet in the early hours of the following morning.

Proud Dad Richard says: "When I was on air, my partner Jo laughed so much - probably for the wrong reasons - that she went into labour (she was pregnant already, so it wasn't unexpected).

"The whole weekend was a wonderful experience. And I'm as proud of my radio debut as I am of my little boy.

"I'll definitely be trying both experiences again - and I don't mind the practice. It's like football really."
