So the Grecians have until 5pm to make any permanent signings (or sell any of our players) before the window slams shut. The loan window opens in a week but any permanent deals must happen today.

5:15pm - Transfer Window Shut
So there we go, the transfer window has now closed and the club have confirmed that there were no last-gasp deals.
While transfers are ruled out until the end of the season the loan window opens next week and free transfers can be signed at any point.
Troy Archibald-Henville became Paul Tisdale's first signing for a transfer fee this afternoon but no other deals took place and more importantly none of our current squad were sold on deadline day.
4:45pm - Only 15 Minutes Left
There may be a few irons in the fire but City have just 15 minutes to make any transfer signings then its a week's wait until the loan window opens.
4:40pm - Reaction To Troy's Signing On Facebook
Rob Sinden: "Good signing. it said on the bbc that this is the first time we have paid out a transfer fee for seven years, is this true? because if it is that is phenomenal the improvement without transfer fees being spent."
Philip Collins: "Troy Taylor and Edwards what more could u want?"
Tarrot Greenaway: "Absolutely BRILLIANT signing... Well done Tis!"

3:50pm - 'A Few Irons In The Fire'
We've just got off the phone to Steve Perryman who gave us an exclusive interview regarding Troy but he also said that even with an hour to go there are still a few irons in the fire.
The club have had a thing for last minute excitement in the last week and we could yet see some action this afternoon!

2:30pm - Norwood On The Scoresheet
Exeter City's promising youngster James Norwood was on the scoresheet for Sutton this weekend as they won 3-2 against Aveley.
The club confirmed recently that Norwood's loan deal has been extended until February 20th.

So there we have it, Exeter City sign a player for a fee.

2pm - Troy Is A Grecian
Exeter City's Official Website has just broken the news that Troy Archibald-Henville has signed a permanent deal with the club for an undisclosed fee.
He becomes the first player to be signed for a transfer fee since January 2003 when Sean Devine joined from Wycombe.
Troy will play for the Reserves tomorrow night when they host Bristol City's second string. (7pm kick off)

Former City midfielder Mark Cooper has been sacked by Peterborough United just 79 days after replacing Darren Ferguson.
The Posh are currently bottom of the Championship and only won once under Cooper.

Fans are having their say on who they want to see joining the club today via Twitter and Facebook including Ross Dymond who believes we 'Need a centre back winger and striker today'.

Meanwhile Andy Mckay jokes that "Barry Corr is signing for the MK Dons because its the only ground he can seem to score at." The striker having scored half of his Grecians' tally at stadiummk.
11:50am - Bristol Rovers Tickets On Sale To Known Fans
From today known fans of the club can purchase tickets for the home clash with Bristol Rovers (in the same way as the Leeds game)

11am - Reserves In Action Tomorrow
Exeter City Reserves are in action again at The Park tomorrow night (7pm) when they host Bristol City's second-string. The Reserves lost their first game of the season last week at Swansea and they will be looking to get back to winning ways.
Entry to the flybe is just £2 for adults and £1 for concessions and as always there will be food and drink available.
