Corr - The Manager Got It Right
One theme that has been constant throughout Paul Tisdale's reign as City boss is his ability to learn from the first meeting with their league rivals.
This has resulted in his side performing better in the second half of the season and stringing some superb runs together.
After losing 2-1 and 4-3 to the MK Dons earlier in the season Exeter earned a draw on Saturday with a solid performance.
And goalscorer Barry Corr believes the tactic Tisdale used, essentially a 4-1-4-1 with Richard Duffy protecting the back-four, was spot on.
He said: "Paul looks at teams we are playing against and he changes the team so we can play well against each team and I think he got it right.
"He put Duffs in and he hasn't really played there all season but he did a fantastic job and I think everyone on the pitch did really well.
"The manager has done well with his selection and the players have done well for him."

Fresh from grabbing a last-gasp equaliser at MK Dons on Saturday Barry Corr also told the travelling Exeter press just how keen he is to show the fans what he can offer the team.
Corr scored a last-gasp strike low past Willy Gueret for his sixth goal of the season, four of which have been against the big MK keeper, and he is now hoping to be rewarded with a run in the side.
"Hopefully I can get a run in the team, get my match fitness up and show what a good player I am," he said.
"I haven't helped myself this season and I have put my hands up as I've done a couple of stupid things but that happens in football and you learn from them.
"I think we deserved a draw, we played well. They are a good side and we matched them. It is good to get a result at a place like this."
