Exeter City eased through the first round of the St Luke's Devon Bowl tonight with a 4-1 win at Ilfracombe.

Stuart Fleetwood was an unused substitute on Saturday and he partnered Ben Watson up front as the 24-year-old continued his return from injury.

And it was the Welshman who opened the scoring before strike partner Watson made it two.

The home side pulled a goal back in the second half before Chris Shephard made it 3-1 to the young City side.

Watson completed the scoring with a penalty as City comfortably moved into the second round and he will be hoping to get more game time under his belt when Swindon Reserves visit the Park on Tuesday. (7pm)
