Liam Sercombe picked up the Man of the Match award after receiving 47% of the votes.
The 19-year-old scored his first League One goal in style with a tremendous long range howitzer and put in an accomplished display.
After the match his manager Paul Tisdale gave him a glowing reference.
"It was a beautiful, patient set-up and a brilliant strike so I am delighted for Liam, it was a fantastic goal,"he said.
"He has been outstanding over the last six or seven games, really on top of his game."
