Liam Sercombe has been rewarded for his top-notch display on Saturday with a place in the League One Team of the Week.
The 19-year-old scored his first League One goal in style with a tremendous long range howitzer and put in an accomplished display.
He also picked up the Official Website MOTM award with 47% of your votes.
After the match his manager Paul Tisdale gave him a glowing reference.
"It was a beautiful, patient set-up and a brilliant strike so I am delighted for Liam, it was a fantastic goal," he said.
"He has been outstanding over the last six or seven games, really on top of his game."
"Liam has had enough strikes recently that eventually one would go in.
"And I like the way they just had the confidence to pass it and pass it. It was like the Rotherham goal last year with Rob (Edwards) and Ryan (Harley) and everyone looking for it to be put in."
Produced by the Press Association, the Team's of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.
