Striker Jamie Lawrie was one unfamiliar face at the Cat & Fiddle yesterday as the squad returned after their summer break.
The 19-year-old striker, who has been capped twice for Northern Ireland, is on trial at the club after being released by Port Vale at the end of the 2009/10 season.
After representing his country at Under 17, Under 19 and Under 21 level Lawrie made his international bow in a 3-0 defeat to Italy before featuring in a 2-0 defeat to Turkey in May.
"James Lawrie is a young striker who has been with the Northern Ireland squad this summer," Paul Tisdale said.
"He will be with us for a couple of weeks and we will see what happens."
Lawrie became Port Vale's youngster player in the FA Cup for over half a century when he made his debut 2007 aged 16 and his performances for Port Vale caught the eye of Everton who took him on trial last summer.
