Daniel Nardiello

"I feel fresh and ready to go.

"There is no reason why Exeter can't do well this year. I mean Blackpool got promoted to the Premiership last year having been favourites to go down so there is no reason why we can't go and have a good season.

"Exeter have a great manager, the club is moving forward and hopefully I can add to that by scoring a few goals."

David Noble

"It is very nice to be back playing again and I am obviously looking forward to it.

"It is good to be with the lads as obviously not being part of the team, although obviously I was at the club, for last season was difficult."

A full interview with David Noble will appear later this month in the Grecian

James Norwood

"I'm really looking forward to the season. I've heard a lot about the Plymouth game in particular and I'm yet to experience to that so it's the biggest and best one this season.

"Pre-season has gone well, I've got on the scoresheet and it's looking good so far. I've been holding the ball up as well which is something I wasn't so good at last year.

"I feel fit and I have bulked up in the gym as well so I'm excited about pushing on this season and scoring some goals."

Joe Heath

"It is looking promising for the new campaign.

"I think especially with the new signings like Daniel Nardiello who I've seen play before and is a brilliant player

"If we apply ourselves right and get the tactics right, which we have great faith that the manager will, I believe we can really push on this year."

Ryan Harley

"I am not saying we are going to win the league but hopefully we can do a lot better than we did this season.

"With a bit of luck here and there we could have easily finished in mid-table.

"If you look at the likes of Brentford, you wouldn't call them a better team than us but they have ended up finishing ten points off the Play Offs, so who knows what can happen this season."

Matt Taylor

"We signed a few new faces and it is what the club is all about, bringing players in with the potential to make the team better and hopefully we have done that this summer.

"And a player like David Noble is like a new signing. But its strange as he has been here for a season so the lads know him well its just the fans haven't seen him yet.

"We are looking forward to it, we can't wait for it all to start."

John O'Flynn

"If you asked me to describe myself I'd say I play on the shoulder of the last defender and get in behind teams. I like to be in and around the box sniffing for goals really.

"Hopefully Exeter fans will see a lot of that this season.

"Paul showed great faith in me and waited around until I made my decision and I'm hoping to repay that faith out on the pitch.

"This is a great club and one that is held in a lot of respect around the nation and I've heard a lot of good feedback from people who have been here.

"I'm just looking forward to getting stuck into the new season."

Steve Tully

"Last season was all about getting used to the league and it had to go down to the last day like everything seems to under Tis!

"But this year we want to push on and improve and if we can get in those Play Off spots then that is another huge step forward.

"I don't think we'll be happy if we just stay up this year, the manager has been emphasising that we need to push on."

Artur Krysiak

"Exeter is another good challenge for me. League One is very tough and there is a big difference between League Two (where Artur played for Burton) and League One.

"I didn't want to stay in Birmingham and be sitting on the bench and playing for the Reserves every three weeks.

"Andy and Paul are more experienced than me but I will be looking to challenge them and that's the same every goalkeeper, another new goalkeeper means another new challenge.

"Everyone will be fighting for the number one shirt."

Steve Perryman

"It is great to start with a home game.

"We've headed to York and places like that so that is a nice little bit of a change.

"It hasn't happened for a long time and Colchester are a team that are fresh in our minds having just played them a few months ago so we can take some confidence from that victory.

"They'll be bringing a new manager with them for his first game which always adds an extra element."

Billy Jones

"I know the place, the manager, the fans and the people and I had some good times here so hopefully I can come back and start that all over again.

"I'm almost 27 now and the highlight of my career was losing in the Play Off Final so I'd like a bit of success and hopefully I can get it here.

"Any player looks for an ambitious club and ambitious people so that was a major factor in my return.

"I was speaking to Paul Tisdale and he really wants to push on and achieve something in this league.

"He wants to go for something and he is after another promotion on his CV as well."
