Adams family would like to thank everyone for their continued support and the overwhelming generosity already shown with the various donations recently made to Adam's two funds.

I should also like to take this opportunity to thank both Exeter City Football Club for asking me to become chair to Adams Funds committee and Marie Stansfield and the family for allowing me this honour and privilege. The committee is to be made up of several members of Adams family including Marie, Adams wife and Adams mother.The club, its supporters and family friends will also have representatives as part of the group.

The principal purpose will be to consider, administer and distribute the monies being received for both the Adam Stansfield Family Fund and the Adam Stansfield Foundation. It will also offer both support and assistance to those people already embarking on fund raising activities as well as those people who have ideas and plans for raising funds. The nature of the support offered will range from facilitationof publicity through our various media channels to practical help and advice on event planning . A further intention and important function will be to co-ordinate and bring together those people who are considering similar activities in order to avoid duplication of effort and resources.

Over the coming months the intention will be to organise a golf day and a sportsman's dinner culminating in Adams Testimonial match which it is anticipated will be played in May 2011 subject to availability of players and SJP.
