With anticipation building ahead of tomorrow's League Cup Round One draw we look back at Exeter City's last five games in the competition.
The Grecians last reached Round Two back in 1993 after overcoming Walsall over two legs. (The layout of the competition until 2000/2001) A place in Round Three evaded them as they lost at home to Derby 3-1 with Stuart Storer scoring.
To find out who this year's opponent will be make sure you visit the Official Website on Wednesday morning from 9:30am.
Exeter City's Last Five League Cup Ties (All Round One):
2009/10 Exeter City 0-5 QPR
Inspired by winger Wayne Routledge, who moved to Newcastle later in the season, QPR made easy work of a City side who had Scott Golbourne sent off for a handball on the line at 2-0 down.
The floodgates began to open after that with some stylish finishing from Rangers.

2008/09 Exeter City 1-3 Southampton
After a six year absence the Grecians were back in League Cup action against then-Championship side Southampton in front of a crowd of over 6000.
Lee Holmes put the Saints in front but a spirited City threatened before finding themselves 2-0 down. A Dean Moxey/Paul Wotton goal set up a thrilling finale before David McGoldrick's penalty put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time.

2002/03 Brighton 2-1 Exeter City (AET)
Everything seemed to go wrong in the 2002/03 season and this match was no exception to the rule.
Barry McConnell's sixth minute penalty gave John Cornforth's side the early lead but Brighton equalised to take the game to extra time where they scored an 103rd minute winner. Another Round One exit for the Grecians.

2001/02 Exeter 0-1 Walsall
This match failed to spark the Exeter public's imagination with just 1993 supporters present at The Park.
And the stay-away supporters didn't miss much, going down 1-0 to a goal from Brazilian midfielder Moreira Herivelto. Manager Noel Blake's spell in charge lasted just over a month longer.

2000/01 Exeter 1-2 Swindon (Swindon win 3-2 on aggregate)
Kwame Ampadu's 81st minute equaliser in the first leg meant City had a vital away goal going into this match but they found themselves 2-0 down at half-time.
Although Mark Rawlinson pulled one back for City an unforgettable comeback was never on the cards.
