No stranger to City manager Paul Tisdale, Bertie having played for Team Bath in two separate spells.
The Frenchman signed a one-year deal for Exeter in July 2006 after a successful pre-season trial. Has also played for Cheltenham Town (August 2003-March 2004), Hereford United (March-July 2004), Northampton Town (July 2004-January 2005), Kidderminster Harriers (January-May 2005) and Aldershot Town (August 2005).
Bertie played an influential role in the club's promotion from League Two, starting the majority of games during the run in.
He opened his goalscoring account for the club in an away defeat at Charlton in September 2009.
