No stranger to City manager Paul Tisdale, Bertrand having played for Team Bath in two separate spells.. He signed a one-year deal for Exeter in July 2006 after a successful pre-season trial. Has also played for Cheltenham Town (August 2003-March 2004), Hereford United (March-July 2004), Northampton Town (July 2004-January 2005), Kidderminster Harriers (January- May 2005) and Aldershot Town (August 2005). Struggled with injury in the latter stages of the 2006-07 season.
