The first team find of the season? in 2003-04, Dean made his debut whilst still a trainee and went on to feature regularly in the squad with a string of consistent and impressive displays, as well as notching his first senior goals. Made his debut for the England National Game side against Holland in February 2005. A foot injury kept him out of action in the second half of the 2004-05 season, but fought his way back and regained his first team place.
Signed a new deal in July 2007.
