Regular scorer in the youth team, and having made a number of appearances for the reserves, Chris was awarded his first one-year deal with the club in June 2007.
Chris joined Weston-Super-Mare on 25th November 2009 for an initial one month loan.
Shep's big break came in August 2011 when he started the club's first six games of the season and scored against Yeovil in a 2-0 Carling Cup win.
A playmaker with a low centre of gravity, Shephard is thriving in the City team after injuries had previously robbed him of his big break.
