Troy was Exeter City 's first signing in the January 2009 transfer window and the 20 year-old right-sided central defender initially arrived on a one-month loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur and made his debut in the 2-1 win at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Troy has been at Spurs since signing as a schoolboy and last season was skipper of the Reserve side at White Hart Lane. He made the substitutes bench twice last season, an away trip at Wigan and at home to Arsenal although he has yet to play in the first-team.

At the start of this season he joined Norwich City on loan but returned to Spurs recently after failing to break into the first-team although he made a number of appearances for the second-string at Carrow Road.

He returned to the club in July 2009 signing a 6-month loan deal before joining permanently during the 2009/10 January transfer window.

As we move into October 2011 Troy has made over 90 appearances for the club scoring twice - against Chesterfield at home and a memorable winner at Hillsborough.
