Andy was signed in July 2007 on a free transfer from Boston United.
He started his career as a trainee at Arsenal in 1988 before joining Nottingham Forest for a fee of £50,000 a year later.
Since then he has played for 13 clubs and twice commanded transfer fees of £200,000 when Wrexham and Sunderland secured his services in 1993 and 1998 respectively.
He has also played for West Bromwich Albion, Blackburn Rovers. Colchester United, Burnley, Wigan Athletic, Barnsley, Birmingham City, Bury and Torquay United.
Andy has won five international caps for Wales. Signed a new deal at Exeter in May 2008.
Having not made an appearance during the 08/09 season Andy won his place back during the start of the 09/10 season.
He now performs the role of General Manager along with his playing duties.
