Exeter City Football Club have announced the matchday and season ticket prices for the 2010/11 season at St James' Park.

The Supersaver season tickets, offering substantial discount, are available until April 30th online (click red link above) or from the club shop and supporters can save up to £159 by purchasing theirs now compared to paying on the day.

As well as freezing all child matchday prices and significantly reducing the prices of advance tickets the club has also added the option to spread season ticket payments.

This new standing order option is expected to be a popular one and supporters can now divide the cost of a full price season ticket over six months, interest free.

Interim Chief Executive Norrie Stewart said: "We want our fans to be able to choose how to pay, when to pay and how much to pay and we think the new pricing structure reflects this.

"You can benefit from massive savings against pay-on-the-gate prices, bring your child with you for less than £14 per game as well as guaranteeing that spot on the Big Bank or that special seat.

"We have recognized that the progress to financial independence at Exeter City FC depends hugely on income from gates and not wealthy individuals or TV deals. That is why we made the decision to remove the four-year freeze on season ticket prices."

Family football is a vital part of Exeter City ethos and the freeze in child matchday prices for every stand as well as the continuation of the Stagecoach and Big Bank season tickets reflects this.

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale has reinforced just how important season ticket holders are to the club and especially to his playing budget.

"Season ticket holders are the lifeblood of any football club. Passionate, loyal and committed," he said.

"Thanks to your support the money made available by the club for players next season is a very substantial increase on last season's budget."

One major change to the matchday ticket operation is the significant reduction of prices for pre-purchased tickets online next season. For example purchasing an adult flybe ticket in advance saves you £2 compared to paying on the gate.

The club will also continue to offer discounted prices for under 18s and over 60s, which many supporters who travel away will appreciate is a real rarity at this level.

As well as priority to away games and every cup competition, season ticket holders will also get a free Red & White card with their season ticket, offering an extensive range of discounts across local business and retail outlets.

The £10 policing premium to cover extra policing costs,  which was put on season tickets for the 09/10 season has also been removed and in addition fans will also gain free entry to every totesport.com combination league reserve games at The Park.

Flybe flights to Europe and dinner with Paul Tisdale are just two of the unique Exeter City available in a weekly prize draw available to 2010/11 season ticket holders only from March 15th.

Every fan that renews or purchases a season ticket will be entered into this draw, so the sooner you sign up the better chance you have of winning.
