Exeter City have delivered another thank you for the loyalty and backing that their supporters have provided this season with the news that season ticket prices will be increased by no more than £10 for the 2009-10 season, with this rise only being a reflection of the increased number of policed matches at St James Park. Prices otherwise are frozen for the fourth year in a row.

City Commercial Director Paul Morrish commented: "Our return to the Football League has been a great success on and off the pitch. Our matchday attendances are up by over 30%, and we have broken all records for the number of season ticket holders too.

Exeter City is only as strong as its supporters and this season has again provided ample demonstration both of the success of the sensible progression that our plans set out to achieve, and the critical role of the fans at the heart of everything.

Our season ticket pricing is a tangible gesture of the thanks and appreciation of the Board of the Club, Paul Tisdale and the playing staff to the fans for their valued support of Exeter City during this and previous seasons. These are exciting times for us all and we truly appreciate the role and difference the support is making.

Season ticket sales are vital as a tangible demonstration of that support, and in providing backing at all levels for our plans and football and community activities at all levels.

The revenue earned from season ticket sales is vitally important to further underpinning our progress in developing the infrastructure of the whole club, and especially to enable us to meet the commitments we have already made to deliver the playing budget we have agreed with Paul Tisdale for next season."

Although a small increase has been added to most season tickets, the Club have announced that child season tickets for the popular Stagecoach and Blackthorn stands will remain at this season's levels. In addition, a new Under-14s Family season ticket will be introduced, meaning children with an adult will be able to watch first class professional football for only £2 per match!

In stressing that the decision to set such generous season ticket prices had been taken regardless of whether fans would be watching another promotion push at League Two or, if the Club were successful in their current promotion campaign, were playing in League One next season.

Morrish underlined: "We have held our matchday entry prices at the same level for each of the past three seasons. We have reviewed our matchday prices for next season and will be announcing these at the beginning of June.

"At a minimum though we will be obliged to make some small changes enforced upon us by police cost increases for certain matches. To cover this we will be classifying at least ten matches as 'Premium', and adding an extra £1 to the gate prices for these matches.

"Although we are adding a £10 policing premium to the cost of season tickets, we are delighted once again to freeze the rest of the cost of the 2009-10 season ticket - meaning that season ticket holders will further benefit in the event that there are more than ten Premium matches, and should matchday prices rise."

The Club have also enhanced the value of their season ticket packages with a full range of benefits to include:

·Excluding the £10 Premium match policing charge, all season ticket prices frozen.

·Further discounts available to existing, or new if signed up with a season ticket application, members of the 'City Foundation' (details available on the club website or from the club). Season ticket prices have been totally frozen for existing Foundation members.

·Facility for to make payment by cheque, cash, debit card, credit card or standing order.

·Continued extension of child rates to include all those under age 18 on 1st September 2009.

·Child prices frozen and new under-14s Family Ticket introduced for the Blackthorn Big Bank and Stagecoach Stand - which means each Family Child Ticket equates to only £2 per match!

·Continuation of the popular Gold Flybe Stand Season Ticket option (car parking, signed replica shirt, matchday magazine, players' photo day ticket, and other benefits in the price).

·Guarantee of priority ticket allocation for 'all-ticket' matches within the Club's control.

·Choice of delivery or collection including a new registered post delivery option.

·A range of free vouchers will be inserted with each season ticket. These will include local Club Partner discounts, a free match ticket to share with a friend or relative, and money-off vouchers for the Club's award winning matchday programme and increasingly popular matchday catering.
