Paul Tisdale reflected on his side's 3-1 win over Yeovil in the Johstone's Paint Trophy last night

"I am really pleased with how we did and the players feel good about themselves.

That is what it is about - going to work, feeling good about yourself and earning your money. Their earned their money last night and there was some terrific support.

There were a lot of Exeter supporters there which was terrific, they would have got good value.

We played well and won. Saturday was a poor day for us, we tried really hard but had no energy about us.

We all knew we were a bit soft and we just didn't click on Saturday and that is everyone as a group. We were all under par and to get back into a game so soon was nice.

There were a few words said before the game about what I expected of them, they did it and I'm really pleased.

We had drive in our game and enjoyed a really good first 20 minutes and they came back into the game, scored a good goal and gave us a bit of a scare.

Jamie's finishes were very good. But I have to say his game was made much easier by his strike partner.

Richard Logan was the Logie we have come to love when he's at his game. When he plays like he did anyone would choose to play with him.

He was mobile and a threat to the Yeovil back four and Jamie benefited on the back of his power.

That is nice to see and it is important we acknowledge that. Richard Logan didn't get a goal but he certainly helped Jamie in his quest.

Yeovil did extremely well to play the second half with 10 men and come back to get an equaliser and do what they did. A good game of football and I'm really pleased we won it."
