"We know Rotherham are a good side. Had they not had their points deducted they would be in a very healthy position alongside ourselves so they are certainly a difficult side and I am convinced they will be a tough team to play on Saturday.

"I was delighted at the Morecambe result, it was a very good point against a very good side that possibly had the better of us in the game.

"And unlike everybody in St James Park in the hour or two leading up to the game I didn't think it was going to be an easy game so I was very pleased with the point and it was a very hard earned point

"Until the one o'clock meeting on Thursday I had not heard a player mention it and we have been training as normal and have been trying to keep it as relaxed and as routine as ever.

"If you start talking about things too early you wear yourself out. The players have been asked to concentrate on doing their thing and I hadn't mentioned the name 'Rotherham' to the players until the Thursday lunchtime meeting.

"I watched Rotherham play against Morecambe last week so I've seen them play ten days ago. I think the key to this will be how we play, I have an image of how they play but by far the priority is how we play.

"The last couple of months it is not unreasonable to leave it until lunchtime to make team selections, as so much can be altered.

"They are big games and players react differently, but you are always a big injury away from having to change the team anyway.

"So I keep things as close to my chest as possible but most of the time that's because I haven't figured it out myself yet!

"I'm hoping we get a very big following on Saturday as we have had all season for our away games.

"In our eyes it is a simple strategy; win on Saturday to get automatic promotion if we don't then we look to win the Play Offs.

"Would getting in the Play Offs mean we were disappointed? I don't think we would be.

"We have had a fantastic year back in the League and expectations may have risen in the last 5 or 6 weeks but we certainly aren't going to be disappointed or hard on ourselves.

"If we don't go up on Saturday we would recover very quickly but we are prepared for everything."
