City Foundation hands over £3500 to Centres
At the heart of the City Foundation aims is the desire to support the development of football at the club and, at last Saturday's game against Barnet, one of the Foundation's key sponsors, Alan Smith of ALS Motor Parts, went onto the pitch to present a cheque for £3500 to Sporting Director, Julian Tagg, the club's Head of youth Football, Simon Hayward, accompanied by some of the youngsters who will benefit from the extra funding, all pictured in the photo taken by Club Photographer Cheggers (www.cheggerspics.co.uk).
The money will fund two TV gantries, two video cameras and secure storage for academy teams' equipment. Every support possible helps the already excellent youth set up improve even more and bring on the future City footballers so a big thank you comes from the Centre of Excellence and the City Foundation to all Foundation members for their contribution and support, proving that Grecian fans are the very best!
If you'd like to add your support, join the City Foundation. Funds raised go to causes such as this but you also get a chance to win your money back - and more!
