Commenting on the matchday pricing announcement Commercial Director Paul Morrish states: "Exeter City is a club owned by and for the people and is here for the benefit of the local community. Our matchday pricing reflects this and we are very pleased to say that we have achieved two successive promotions and many other successes on and off the pitch by financing ourselves with a balanced budget and no debt.

We have not increased our matchday prices for three years and in running a balanced budget, not supported by any benefactor, have to generate our own revenues in line with the ethos of the Club.

We are determined to continue to match the ambition of the club and its manager in order to compete on the pitch at League One level and beyond, and to continue our plans to develop all aspects of the infrastructure of the club.

Accordingly, reflecting that the quality of a matchday at St James Park is high, and that the attraction of the opposition this coming season will be higher than at any other time during the history of the Club, we have made modest changes to our prices.

We have taken much input in setting these prices and are especially pleased that the prices for enjoying the matchday experience at Exeter City offer better value and lower average increases than watching other professional sports teams in Exeter.

Prices also benchmark as good value when compared with League Two clubs, and extremely good value when compared with the League One Clubs we will be competing against.

We are of course delighted to be able to reflect a fair and attractive set of prices for next season, and also to continue to reward both the thousands of loyal fans and the record numbers of new supporters who are on the journey with the Club.

This reward and thanks also extends to our rapidly growing range of commercial partners from all sectors of the business and public sector community.

It is the backing from all areas which has helped to convince the Board, the Supporters Trust, our players and Paul Tisdale that we still have great opportunities within our grasp this season and beyond."
