It is that time again as the season draws to a close thoughts turn to preparing SJP and the Cat & Fiddle during the summer for next season. The summer work parties have been pencilled in and the dates for your diaries are as follows

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd June Cat & Fiddle Camping Weekender

This weekend will include painting, cleaning, drainage work, tidying vegetation
to ensure the place is spick and span for when the players and staff return. As usual this will be a chance to camp over on Saturday night and enjoy a barbecue, plenty of drink, top music, really good company and plenty of games of footy and cricket. All welcome even if you can't make the camp over come on down for the day and enjoy meeting and working with your fellow Grecians.

Sunday 17th June & Sunday 24th June

Over these two Sundays we will be painting the railings and metalwork at the front of the Doble, also some painting on the Big Bank to comply with safety regulations. There will be other non painting related jobs as well.

Saturday 7th July & Sunday 8th July

This weekend will be used to blitz the ground prior to the pre season friendlies. Work will include cleaning the refreshment huts as well as the ground, weeding, painting, washing and any other jobs which need doing, the list will grow over the next couple of months!

Please bring along old clothes, lunch and refreshments will be provided as usual at all work parties.

If you haven't been to a work party before, it's great fun, you will be doing something positive for the club you love, you'll make new friendships and there are no skills required.
