Another very successful weekend at SJP and many thanks to the following who gave up some or all of their weekend to ensure the ground is looking as good as possible.

Despite the best efforts of the weather on Sunday to hinder us we managed to finish most of what was planned. The players' tunnel has been repainted and a start made on repainting the yellow lines on the steps throughout the ground. Special thanks must go to Jazmine who told us that art was her favourite subject and demonstrated her prowess with a paint brush on 3 sets of steps. The adults meanwhile continued to gloss the front of the Flybe, rust proof the foot of the crowd barriers in the Big Bank and paint the catering outlets.
An extra special mention must also go to three of our younger supporters Joe & Jamie Clarke and Rob Miller who were attending their first work party on Saturday. I gave them what I thought would be a relatively quick task of moving some rubble left over from the Old Grandstand project. However it proved to be a much bigger task than I had envisaged but they stuck at it all day and kept their sense of humour. Thanks Rob, Joe and Jamie and I hope you aren't put off coming again and I promise you a much easier job next time.
There is still an amount of work left to do at SJP so if anybody has some spare time either during the week or at the weekend contact me at the club 01392 411243 or email me at enquiries@exetercityfc.co.uk.
