It is that time of year again with the season drawing to a close, thoughts turn to sprucing up St James Park and the Cat and Fiddle Training Ground.
During the close season this year, volunteers will be repainting the Big Bank crash barriers, the turnstiles and entrances on Stadium way, the yellow safety lines and the entrance area by the St James Centre.
They will also be cleaning and repainting where necessary at the Cat & Fiddle training ground as well as decorating the toilets in the away end.
The full list of dates are below and the first supporters work party of the summer takes place this Sunday 17th May 2009 at St James Park.
The aims are to sand, wash down and prime all the crash barriers on the big bank ready for undercoating to sand, wash down and prime all the turnstile fronts and entrance gates in Stadium Way, remove the roof from disabled bay on the Big Bank and cut down and remove vegetation from around the away end toilets.
The work is starting at 9.30am and the ground will be open from 9.15 and aiming to finish around 3.30pm. All volunteers need to bring with them are old clothes and there will be refreshments available with lunch supplied. If fans cannot commit to the whole day then they are encouraged to come along for a couple of hours and all help is gratefully received!
It is fun, it creates new friendships and most of all you are doing something positive for Exeter City Football Club which everyone is proud of!
No experience is required just old clothes and a positive attitude, food and drink are supplied.

Sunday 7th June 9am : Continuing as above
Saturday & Sunday 13th, 14th June 9am : Cat and Fiddle weekender, bring a tent and stay over.
