Christy Pym graduated from Exeter City’s academy when he was offered a pro-contract at the end of the 2012/13 season.

Following the departure of Rhys Evans that summer, Pym was promoted to second-choice keeper behind Artur Krysiak.

As well as playing a major role in the Grecians’ march to the quarter-final of the Under-21 Premier League Cup, Christy was handed his first senior start for City in 2013/14 season as they defeated Southend United at Roots Hall.

The youngster played nine times for the first team in his maiden campaign and entered the 2014/15 season as the first-choice keeper following Krysiak’s departure to Yeovil Town. It was that season he also received three call-ups to play for England at under-20 level.

Christy was sidelined following a hand operation for a large part of last campaign but is currently one of three keepers at the club battling out it out for the No. 1 spot this term.
