BIO:

EXETER CITY added midfielder Tom McCready to the ranks at St James Park at the start of February 2015.

The midfielder was previously with Morecambe on non-contract terms, and played 45 minutes from the bench against the Grecians during City’s 2-0 win earlier in the same season at the Globe Arena.

Tom made eight appearances for the Shrimps, where his elder brother Chris had spent four years, before coming on trial at the Cat & Fiddle in January.

His first involvement in a matchday squad was as an unused substitute at York City at the end of February.

He scored on his first start of the 2015/16 season, in the 6-3 defeat at Sunderland. Across the course of the campaign Tom found himself in and out of the side, but he did enough to convince Paul Tisdale to hand him an extension to his deal, keeping him at St James Park until the summer of 2017.
