Exeter City added midfielder Tom McCready to the ranks at St James Park at the start of February 2015.

The midfielder was previously with Morecambe on non-contract terms, and played 45 minutes from the bench against the Grecians during City’s 2-0 win earlier in the same season at the Globe Arena.

Tom made eight appearances for the Shrimps, where his elder brother Chris had spent four years, before coming on trial at City in January.

His first involvement in a matchday squad was as an unused substitute at York City at the end of February.

Tom found himself in and out of the side, but he did enough to convince Paul Tisdale to hand him an extension to his deal, keeping him at St James Park this season. He started off this season as the likely candidate for the first-choice right back slot, but injury has hampered him so far this term.
