16 September 2014

Davies gets the nod in single change

Grecians boss Paul Tisdale has named an almost unchanged starting XI from the weekend’s draw at home to Oxford United for the game at Cambridge United.

Midfielder Arron Davies is the only new inclusion in the squad, with Christian Ribeiro taking place on the bench.

The move is likely to mean a place back in defence for captain Scot Bennett, who acted as a striker against the Yellows on Saturday.

Pat Baldwin again misses out on the matchday 18 with injury.

Cambridge United: Dunn; Lanzoni, Coulson, Nelson, G.Taylor; Tait, Donaldson, Diallo, Dunk, Appiah, Bird.
Subs: Norris, Austin, Stockley, Whittall, Lennon, Hurst, B.Taylor.

Exeter City: Pym; Wheeler, Bennett, Oakley, Moore-Taylor, Woodman; Grimes, Davies, Sercombe; Nicholls, Cummins.
Subs: Hamon, Butterfield, Ribeiro, Keohane, Nichols, Noble, Tillson.
