We have an exciting opportunity to join our League 1 Club as Supporter Experience Officer here at St James Park where we are proudly celebrating 20 years Supporters' Trust ownership.
Trust ownership is reflected in our commitment to balancing on-field success with long-term sustainability and placing fan and community engagement at the core of our operations. We have a special place in the heart of the community and as a family friendly Club have a thriving supporters club focussed on younger fans, the ‘Junior Grecians’ of Exeter City Football Club.
This role of Supporter Experience Officer demands a dynamic and creative individual with a passion for creating memorable events and experiences, particularly for young people in a manner consistent with the family friendly ethos of the Club.
This role will involve managing our younger supporters matchday activities, the team of casual staff and volunteers that help make these events so memorable and expanding the already excellent matchday and nonmatchday experiences.
Duties will include producing promotional materials, online content and engagement with local youth teams and schools to promote junior supporter events & activities. Handling marketing, sales, bookings and invoicing for our matchday parties and on-pitch experiences and overseeing all membership administration ensuring accurate records and compliance with GDPR legislation.
Another key aspect of this role will be to develop new engaging events and activities that drive engagement amongst Junior Grecians and our wider fanbase. We envisage this including the development of an Exeter City ‘e-sports’ community and other non-matchday activities at the Stadium.
Candidates will need to have excellent communication skills and proven experience in planning and executing events, especially those catering to younger audiences. Previous experience in event management, sports management, hospitality or education, focussed on the delivery of children’s activities would be desirable but not essential.
