💬 Gary Caldwell reacts to Peterborough win

Gary Caldwell has praised his side's resilience as they came from a goal behind to beat promotion battlers Peterborough United 2-1 in the wind and rain in Devon.

Two goals from the prolific striker 'own goal' helped City record their first comeback victory of the season after Harrison Burrows' penalty gave the visitors a first half lead.

"First of all we played a very good football team who have quality all over the pitch and keep the ball extremely well," Gary said.

"In the first half we were ok out of possession, restricted them to very little, and in the second half we stepped forward a yard and it got us momentum up the pitch. Vinnie Harper was outstanding when he won the ball and his positivity led to the sending off which ultimately changed the game.

"It was down to the players character and desire. There were boos at half-time and they had to deal with that and use that. They came out in the second half with a change in their mentality because I questioned their bravery, and they stepped onto the game."
